Useful KS3 material The CGP house style of engaging diagrams and terrible jokes, keeping sub topics within a page or two makes this book an excellent teaching and revision resource It seems to be factually accurate that the KS2 book.I use the Kindle edition for tutoring both across the internet sharing the window and with my laptop in front of the student The advantages are I can point to things on the page to a student in China, I can type and draw on it without destroying it, I cannot forget where I put it , it does not get tatty, and if anything happens to my laptop it will appear on its successor.

As a science teacher I bought this to have a copy at home These books are great They re a succinct, easy to follow, and we use them in school for revision or sources to use in class Often the internet can give you too much, if it s the wrong website These include some questions that sum up the chapters which are helpful What I suggest is doing some active revision such as flash cards and mind maps instead of just reading.

My daughter has just started her new high school and I have been helping her with her science homework We were relying on Google which was OK but gave advanced answers in some cases and it took ages.We went old skool and bought this book I has, saved so much time It is clear Has pictures and is simple to follow.Very happy

Good covers the syllabus and seems to do what you d have thought the teachers might be doing in class According to my 13 yr old, all the important bits are there and I would say this study guide is a great help to parents, too, who may have been expecting the school to provide BOOKSsigh.

This review is for the REVISION GUIDE as I did not receive the study guide in the picture The revision guide is a summary of the study guide This is an excellent series, useful as stand alone learning or as accompaniment to in class learning, and is great for homework assignments Lovely colourful illustrations and the option to access online guide also.

Excellent revision tool just make sure that you buy the most recent publication because there were some changes to the curriculum and the one I bought was an older version This wasnt made clear and tbh I hadnt realised that there were different editions.I have also bought the KS2 Maths and English from this series and they are definitely worth buying.
